  1. You are mistaken about one thing. It was most definitely released in the USA. I am from NYC, and I had copies of this record when it came out -- on vinyl and on cassette.

  2. Interesting Are you able to provide release dates and cataglogue information? If you look at Discogs which lists release details of records /CDs there is no mention of a U.S. release for The Kids From Fame Again album. If you search on Ebay (which I have been doing every week for over 20 years) you will see releases from various countries for this album but never a U.S. release. If you go to the Fame TV series archive for the "Songs" album and scroll down to "reviews" there is an article from the U.S. cashbox magazine that states "Songs" was the second album. https://sites.google.com/view/fame-tv-series-archive/home/albums/songs?authuser=0 In Fact "Songs" was released in the U.S around the same time that "Again" was released in the U.K. The 3rd album "Live" was then released 4 months later in 1983. So I'm wondering where "Again" fitted into the U.S. release schedule? Billboard and Cashbox magazines had publicity for the first album, "Songs" and Live" but nothing for "Again". The U.S version of "Songs" also features "Mannequin" the U.K. version doesn't because we'd had it on the "again" album. It's strange if the U.S. also had "Again" that "Mannequin" would have been included twice. So any information you can give about the U.S. release would be gratefully received. Is it possible that you bought the album on Import? For instance the Best of Fame album was not released in the U.K. where I live but I still bought that album in London.
