Lionel Richie is the self titled debut solo album from Lionel Richie. Released on 6th February 1982 on Motown Records. It was produced by James Anthony Carmichael and Lionel Richie. The album reached No. 9 on the British charts, and peaked at No. 1 in the US charts.
